Just three short cappuccino-infused portraits of Paul Weller, keyboard player Mick Talbot and drummer Steve White. Even the second track side A The Whole Point of Return is not listed. Okay, the info on the back cover always seemed quite incomplete. I didn’t even know that this does exist at all. Songs similar to Blue Cafe by The Style Council, such as Ill Fly for You by Spandau Ballet, Black Man Ray by China Crisis, Theme for Great Cities by Simple. Debut release Cafe Bleu by The Style Council released in 1984 - my review with lyric sheets and links to music. Amazon seems to have 'Blue' spelled wrong, or maybe that's the way The Style Council spelled it, idk. Paul Weller is a genius-that's all I can say. It's so creative and still is listenable. ![]() Beautifully designed by The Style Council regular Simon Halfon, beautifully written by the mysteriously Cappuccino Kid aka Paolo Hewitt and Paul Weller himself. This debut album of the Style Council, Cafe Blue is one of my most favorite albums of all time. Inside the cover was the reprinted booklet that accompanied Café Bleu originally, I presume. Café Bleu is the official debut album released by the English band The Style Council. When I bought the 2017 reissue of the Style council’s fab debut platter Café Bleu remastered on blue vinyl I was struck by surprise and pleasure.
